TAU LUMEN / CONFIGURATOR

Estimate a system
for your working volume.

Camera count and price automatically scale with area, task, number of people and occlusion. Retail estimates are available without registration.

TAU LUMEN / 3D WORKING-VOLUME MODEL

See how camera placement affects marker visibility.

Compare two configurations on the same route at the same time. The model accounts for field of view, range, marker size, occlusion and the intersection angle between camera rays.

Demonstration assumptions: 72° × 56° field of view, range up to 18 m, 15 mm marker. A view pair is valid at a ray intersection angle of 18–162°. This is a geometric check, not a TAU Lumen datasheet or measured accuracy.

METHODOLOGY

How the estimate works.

The algorithm gives an engineering reference, not an automatically exact project specification.

01

Geometry

Area determines the baseline coverage estimate. Height is retained in the estimate and checked by an engineer during camera placement.

02

Scene complexity

The number of performers and occlusion increase the marker-visibility reserve.

03

Full cost

Network, synchronisation, markers, software, deployment, training and support are added to the cameras.

04

Validation

The final specification is confirmed by a brief and, where necessary, a site survey.
