TAU MED / OEM FOR SIMULATOR MANUFACTURERS

TAU OEM tracking
for ultrasound simulators.

Sensor, field sources and software interface designed around your probe and manikin. The goal is a stable virtual imaging plane and predictable integration.

PRODUCT BOUNDARIES

Your anatomy and scenarios.
Our measurement layer.

TAU Med is being developed for educational ultrasound-system manufacturers. Integration covers probe position and orientation relative to the manikin, measurement quality and data delivery.

TAU does not replace the manufacturer’s anatomical model, training scenarios or interface. It is not a finished clinical ultrasound system or clinical navigation.

MEDICAL SIMULATION / OEM

Probe pose becomes a virtual imaging plane

The measurement layer is embedded into the manufacturer’s training probe and manikin. Joint qualification tests static hold, micro-movement, tilt and recovery after measurement loss.

Manufacturer value: predictable integration and full-chain testing before a production decision.

TARGET SCENARIOS

What the tracking must withstand.

R&D / TEST

Probe hold

The virtual plane should not shake while holding a section — a full-chain test objective.

R&D / TEST

Slow scanning

Small movements without a dead zone or hidden pose freezing.

R&D / TEST

Tilt & relocation

Predictable measurement recovery and status delivery to the application.

R&D / TEST

Full lesson

Heating, stability, repeated registration and operation of the specific probe.

INTEGRATION PATH

A parallel bench first. Production later.

  1. 01

    Parallel bench

Document the current tracker, probe, manikin, trajectories and reference.

  2. 02

    Diagnostics

Static hold, micro-movements, tilt, recovery and heating.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Agree mounting, cable, sources, registration and SDK draft.

  4. 04

    Qualification

Identical tests of TAU and the current solution across several units.

  5. 05

    Production decision

Only after testing — supply scope, support and economics.
